A special kind of love

If you’re thinking of getting a dog, please consider adopting one from a rescue.

If you have a dog-loving home, but don’t want to add to your family just now, consider fostering.

The Grand River All-breed Animal Rescue is a local non-profit animal rescue group dedicated to adopting dogs and other companion animals into suitable homes. They often rescue animals from over-crowded shelters and the streets.

The Guelph Humane Society’s mission is to promote the welfare of all animals
and prevent cruelty and suffering. It helps to place over 600 animals in loving homes each year.

Barlee’s Angels Rescue Network is a non-profit, all-breed animal rescue based in Guelph. Their group of volunteers finds foster homes for abandoned, unwanted, abused or stray animals, tend to their veterinary needs, and adopt them into carefully screened homes.
